On Tuesday October 21st, our coalition delivered over 7000 petition signatures in support of Make Polluters Pay to our statehouse leaders. Over the past several months, we have been canvassing, sending texts and emails, and hosting petition drive events to show the broad support for Make Polluters Pay. To date, we have collected over 10,000! We printed up the first 7000 or so in time to deliver them to the members of the Environment and Natural Resources committee as well as state house leadership and Governor Maura Healey.

Check out the petition packet here!

Before we entered the statehouse to hand deliver the petitions to our elected officials, we rallied with large, hand-painted banners and and a HUGE inflatable oil drum that says "Make Polluters Pay". The rally featured speakers from Progressive Mass, The Sunrise Movement at Smith, and CREW.
